Pre-requisites for Rescue Diver Course
With the completion of the Rescue Diver Course, the diver
moves beyond a recreational level by achieving a professional
standard of knowledge of the "science" aspect
of diving and rescue/emergency techniques. The Rescue
course gives the student a better appreciation and understanding
of the importance of this training relevant to diver safety
and incident minimization and management.
Pre-requisites for this course are:
- PADI Advanced Open water
certificate or equivalent rating with another dive training
agency and;
- a current 1st Aid certificate.
The course
comprises 1 day of pool and classroom training followed
by a 3 day 2 night liveaboard trip where you will get
up to 11 dives on a variety of spectacular outer reef locations.
These dives consist of a combination of training and
recreational dives.

An additional fee of $15 per person per day ($45 per trip) is when making your final payment at the dive centre.
(This fee consists of a Government Environmental Management Charge as well as a Port Departure Tax and administration
costs).
Rescue Diver candidates are required to have a current First Aid certificate. If you don't already have a First Aid certificate
we conduct PADI EFR (First Aid) training on the Saturday (the day prior to commencement) at a cost of $140.00

Cancellation Policy
Full refund if cancellation is made up until 7days prior to departure
$25 administration fee if cancelled between 7 days and 48 hours prior to departure
No refund if notified less than 48 hours prior to departure
Important Information
Insufficient dive qualifications and/or some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. Prior to diving, you will be asked to
complete a questionnaire regarding your diving qualifications, experience & current fitness to dive. Should you answer yes to the
medical question asked you will be required to consult a doctor to acquire a medical certificate prior to your dive trip. Cost is AUD$49.50
per person
Flying After Diving
We recommend that you do not fly until midday the day after your dive trip returns. This will give you 24 hours of surface interval
after diving.
