37-metre state of the art wavepiercer, ideally suited to outer reef cruising. The wreck of SS Yongala is best accessed from Alva Beach near Ayr in North Queensland. From the Dive Centre it is a fast 30 minute ride by RIB to the dive site.
Accommodation is available and recommended at the Alva Beach Dive Lodge. Also PADI courses are conducted at the Dive Centre

missile destroyer located just north of Brisbane
