Dive Australia - The Scuba Centre
My wife Brenda and I have been actively involved
in Queensland tourism and the scuba diving industry, specifically in the Whitsunday
Island and Cairns regions of North Queensland, since 1979. We came to Airlie
Beach in
the Whitsunday Islands from the
Royal Australian Navy where I was the Commanding Officer
of the RAN Clearance Diving Dive Team.
The Scuba Centre - Dive
Australia is the longest established diving company in
the Whitsunday Island region of Queensland. We commenced business in the Whitsundays in 1979 as Shute Harbour Diving services and later as Whitsunday Scuba Centre. Back then we were prominent in commercial diving and also operated a dive boat to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Through the nineties we specialised in the
the service and repair of commercial and non-commercial diving equipment as
well as installation of HP systems and compressors. I was General
Manager of Pro Dive Whitsundays in 2005 operating two large liveaboard dive vessels
and the largest PADI training centre in the southern hemisphere.
Our website was launched 10 years ago and is used daily by thousands of divers from all over the world who are interested in diving the Great Barrier Reef. Brenda replies personally to all dive enquiries that we receive, promptly and with plenty of information to help you make the right decision about your course or liveaboard cruise
Here you will be able to select the best liveaboard option to dive Cairns, the Whitsundays and other Queensland dive sites. You can also choose your PADI diver training course at these destinations.
Yours in diving
